A complete guide on how to use the Executive Gourmet Debit QR Cashless payment system.
1. What Is the Executive Gourmet Debit QR?
The EG Canteen Debit QR allows you to:
- Tap/Swipe Debit QR at the canteen to pay instantly
- Cash-In money at the cashier on duty at the canteen
- Cash-In money online using GCash, Maya, QRPH, or Cards
- Order special meals for future delivery dates
- Keep all transactions digital and cashless

Your Debit QRtoken is unique — keep it safe.
2. How to Cash-In on your Debit QR card using GCash / Maya / QRPH / Credit Cards
Option A: Using Your Phone Camera / Laptop Camera / Desktop PC Camera
- Go to the Online Debit QR Cash-in page.
- Tap Start Camera and scan your Debit QR. Allow Camera while visiting the page and point it to your Debit QR
- Enter your desired load amount.
- Select your payment method.
- Complete the payment.
- Your Debit QR balance updates automatically.
Option B: Using Cashier to Cash-In at canteen counter
- Present your Debit QR to the cashier.
- Cashier scans your code.
- Pay in cash.
- Funds are instantly added to your wallet.
3. How to Order Special Menu Items
Special menus are available on specific days.
You can order using:
A. Printed QR Menu displayed in the canteen
- Look for the printed Menu QR Code for the day.
- Scan it using your phone camera.
- The menu page opens automatically.
- Check the menu name, price, and delivery date.
- Enter quantity.
- Scan your Debit QR to pay.
- Receive confirmation + your Order Number.
B. Ordering from the Website
- Visit the Special Menu Orders page.
- Select the menu you want (if multiple available).
- Enter quantity.
- Scan your Debit QR or manually type your token.
- Confirm payment.
- Receive your Order Number.
4. Understanding Your Order Number
After a successful order, you will see:
- Order Number (e.g., SM20251201-482)
- Menu name
- Quantity
- Delivery date
- Amount deducted
- Confirmation of successful payment
Keep the Order Number — staff may ask for it.
5. Insufficient Balance Protection
If your balance is too low:
- The system blocks the order
- Your wallet is not charged
- A message appears:
“Insufficient wallet balance. Please load your Debit QR first.”
You can then tap New Order to retry.
6. Checking Your Debit QR Balance
You can check your balance any time:
- Go to the Check Balance page.
- Scan your Debit QR cardt using your phone camera / Laptop Camera or Desktop Camera. Allow Camera while visiting the site and point camera to your Debit QR
- Your name and current balance will appear.
7. Viewing Your Transaction History
Your transaction history shows:
- QR card cahs-ins
- Online payments
- Menu orders
- Dates and times
- Payment channels used
This is available on the admin side (for record-keeping), and customers can request their history anytime.
8. What Devices Are Supported?
✔ Supported
- All modern smartphones (Android & iPhone)
- Tablets
- Laptops with working camera
- External USB barcode/QR scanners (in cashier mode)
❗ Not Supported
- Very old phones with no camera
- Browsers with camera permission disabled
- Incognito mode (may block camera)
9. Privacy & Security
Your wallet only stores:
- Name
- Debit QR card balance
- QR token
The system does not store card details or passwords.
Payments are handled securely by our payment gateway.
